After today’s announcement by the BBC, some EuroFans may have been worried at the fact that the home of the Semi-Finals will no longer be a TV channel, it will be moving as an online channel; so the BBC may have chosen to only broadcast the Semi-Final they are required to vote in. This is not the case!
The BBC have announced to us here at ESCUnited.com that they will not allow the removal of BBC3 from TV sets across the UK to effect the broadcasting of BOTH semi-finals (10th and 12th of May 2016). The channel that the BBC will broadcast the semis on is yet to be announced, but rest assured! All three Eurovision shows will be broadcast on the TV in the United Kingdom!
The UK will be holding a national final to select their song for Stockholm and have now stopped accepting songs, more information will be revealed in due course. The BBC internally selected Electro Velvet for Vienna, where they gained 5 points with the song “Still In Love With You”.
