TONIGHT: Sanremo continues, while North Macedonia & Ireland make their choice

Tomorrow is a big day in the Eurovision calendar, so we’ll have a warm-up day, later today. Later tonight, we will know another two songs and artists that will take the trip to Turin this upcoming May, as well as being one step closer to know, who will represent the host nation.

This is the guide for #YOU tonight and where/how #YOU can watch the shows today.

NORTH MACEDONIA – Za Evrosong (21:15 CET)

Last week, North Macedonia broadcaster (MRT) revealed the 6 chosen acts that were in contention to represent the country in Turin. With that, an online vote was opened up as well, which will be closed later today. The act for the country will be decided from a combined jury and online vote score.

One of these six acts will represent North Macedonia:

1. Andrea – “Circles”
2. Kaly – “Love and Light”
3. Lara Ivanova – “Flower of Sorrow”
4. Ris Flower – “Flying To Berlin”
5. Viktor Apostolovski – “Superman”
6. Yon Idy – “Dreams”

IRELAND – The Late Late Show (22:35 CET)

Ireland has decided to return to selecting their entrant through a national final, this hasn’t been done since 2015. Back then, they used The Late Late Show and tonight, they return to the same format from back then. Ryan Tubridy will be our talkshow host and guide us through the selection, with tonight’s winner being the one to represent Ireland in Turin.

The six acts that will compete tonight are as follow:

1. Patrick O’Sullivan – “One Night, One Kiss, One Promise”
2. Janet Grogan – “Ashes of Yesterday”
3. Brendan Murray – “Real Love”
4. Miles Graham – “Yeah, We’re Gonna Get Out Of It”
5. Rachel Goode – “I’m Loving Me”
6. Brooke – “That’s Rich”

ITALY – Sanremo 2022 (20:40 CET)

Last, but definitely not least, we also have Italy on the program tonight. We enter the fourth night of the annual Sanremo song festival. Tonight is cover night in Sanremo, which means none of the acts will perform their entries, but nonetheless, their performances tonight will still have an impact on the overall outcome, which will take place tomorrow. The competing acts will either perform their covers tonight alone or with a guest artist.
