After several audition rounds the last few weeks, the final 4 acts that will compete in the Dutch national final Junior Songfestival have been announced in their latest YouTube Video! The winner will be representing The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2021 in Paris.
Last week they already announced the 10 finalists. Today, girl group Unity, who represented The Netherlands last year at Junior Eurovision, informed the finalists in which act they were divided in. The finalist had to eat a cupcake that has a particular colour at the inside. After eating the cupcake, the finalist had to go in an elevator and push the button that had the same colour asthe inside of the cupcake. The elevator brought them to 1 of the 4 floors that in the end told them if they were a solo, duo or a group act.
The four acts that will compete to represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision are:
- Mirre, Angelina, Ceder, Soline, Faye
- Priscilla
- Loïs, Jade, Lyova
- Ayana
The Netherlands have participated in every Junior Eurovision since the very first one in 2003. Girl group Unity represented The Netherlands last year with their song “Best Friends.” The song finished in 4th place with a total of 132 points.
