Annet Artani, who is best known for representing Cyprus in Eurovision 2006 with the powerful ballad “Why Angels Cry” and co writing the world hit “Everytime” with Britney Spears, is determined to conquer the Eurovision stage once again in Denmark.

Artani has submitted the song “You Got What I Need” that will compete against 151 other entries in the Swiss German national selections in hopes of representing Switzerland in Copenhagen.

The general public can vote for their favorite entry online. Voting period begins  November 4th and ends on the 18th. In addition, a professional jury will account for 50% of the total votes. The top 18 songs will move to the second stage of the competition which involves an “Expert Check” of the selected candidates. It is scheduled to take place in Zurich on 30 November 2013. Six artists and songs will qualify from the SRF/RTR selection and will proceed to the third stage, the televised national final on February 1st, 2014.
