The first semi-final from the popular Swedish national selection Melodifestivalen will be back on our TV screens this Saturday. Next Saturday the show will be broadcasted from the SAAB arena in Linkoping. Ahead of the competition, SVT has released some details about the entries which will participate next Saturday, which #YOU can find below!
1)The Mamas – Move
This is not the first time that we will see this group in Melodifestivalen, as they were Jon Ludvik’s backing vocals last year whom accompanied him through all his journey at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv with his entry Is it too late for love? “Move” is written and composed by Melanie Wehbe, Patrik Jean, Herman Gardarfve.

2) Suzi P – Moves
Suzi P is a 17 year old from Bjuv. She debuted in Sweden in March last year with her single “Shunon”. This is the first time that Suzi P will be participating at the Melodifestivalen. The song is written and composed by Suzi Pancekov, Aniela Eklund, Malou Ruotsalainen, Chanel Tukia, Kenny Silverdique & Joy Deb

3)Robin Bengtsson – Take A Chance
This will be Robin’s 3rd time at Melodifestivalen. His most recent appearance on this show was in 2017 with his entry “I can’t go on” whom he won the contest and managed to reach the 5th place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Kyiv Ukraine. “Take a chance” is written and composed by Jimmy Jansson, Karl-Frederik Reichhardt, Marcus Winther-John.

4)Malou Prytz – Ballerina
Malou is back to Melodifestivalen for the 2nd time this time with her song “Ballerina” Last year her entry “I do me” reached the finals directly from the semi-finals but during the final the entry reached the last year. The song is written and composed by Thomas G:son, Peter Boström, Jimmy Jansson.

OVÖ ( Om Vi Överlever – If we survive) is a Swedish hip-hop group composed by Nicky “Ivory” Osenius Kouakou and Jaouli “Finess” Akofely. This is the first time that the group will participate on this competition. The song is written and composed by Nicholas Frandsen, Lukas Nathanson, Jean-Willy Akofely, Nickie Osenius Kouakou

The former member of FO&O is back to competition. As he did 2 years he will be competiting in this competition as a solo artist. After achieving the 2nd place in 2018, he is hoping that he will achieve a better place this year.
