Carola, three-time participant for Sweden and one of the most iconic Melodifestivalen and Eurovision performers, will return to the competition in 2020, according to Aftonbladet’s Tobbe Ek.
The five-time participant and Eurovision 1991 champion will return with a self-penned track about her Christian faith, This marks the first time she appears with a song she wrote and will be making her first appearance since 2008.
While the details surrounding artists taking part in Melodifestivalen 2020 are scarce, it is believed that more rumoured names will be revealed over the coming days and weeks before SVT announces the participants.
