Rumour after rumour every year regarding the participants for Melodifestivalen, but, Aftonbladet tends to be a reliable source of information whenever MF is concerned.
Today, Aftonbladet have announced three big names who will be participating in Melodifestivalen 2016, these three names they have revealed have all participated before, including one name who said she would not return to Melodifestivalen!
Ace Wilder
Performed in Melodifestivalen 2014 with her song “Busy doin’ nothin” when she ended 2nd, just 2 points behind the winner “undo” by Sanna Nielsen. Ace previously announced she would not return to Melodifestivalen (HERE) although today’s announcement could prove that she has had a change of heart and will, in fact, return to the stage in hope of representing her nation on home soil.
Oscar Zia
The 19 year old was a finalist in Melodifestivalen in 2014, the same year Ace Wilder participated. His song “Yes we can” ended 8th in the grand final of MF. Oscar shot to fame in Sweden when he took part in xfactor, where, once again, he ended 8th. Rumours state that he will return to the Swedish final.
Lisa Ajax
Lisa won 2014’s Swedish Idol and also participated in Lilla Melodifestivalen 2012. She has been named as the third act by AftonBladet. Due to previous participations in competitions, Lisa is no stranger to the stage.
