At the Junior Eurovision press conference held today in Tel Aviv, the European Broadcasting Union and Junior Eurovision 2019 host broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) revealed this year’s slogan and logo.

The press conference, with Project Manager Gert Kark, TVP Creative Director Konrad Smuga, TVP Project Coordinator Marta Piekarska, and Junior Eurovision 2018 winner Roksana Węgiel, revealed that “Share the Joy” is this year’s logo and theme.

The logo for the contest is “a brightly coloured kite to symbolize freedom, light and shared joyous moments,” according to TVP.

“The creative concept represents how working together makes us better, stronger and can bring joy and happiness as we celebrate the beautiful things in life.”

Additionally, Węgiel went backstage to chat with Poland’s Tulia and join them in an impromptu performance of their Eurovision 2019 entry “Fire of Love.”

Junior Eurovision 2019 is being held in Gliwice, Poland on Sunday, November 24, 2019.

To date, nine countries have confirmed entry into the competition: hosts Poland, Australia, France, Georgia (whose Ranina show is on right now as a national selection of its performer), Ireland, The Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, and Wales.

More entries are expected as we approach the late June 2019 deadline, so keep an on ESC United as we keep #YOU up to date on the latest developments and review any national selections as they occur.
