It’s Serbia calling, fellow Eurovision fans!

According to the OGAE Serbia, the country has officially confirmed their participation in the 2024 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest taking place in Malmö, Sweden.

Similarly as in the previous years, Serbia will choose its representative through the national final, Pesma za Evroviziju. The competition is expected to be announced, and the applications to be open, in the upcoming weeks.

As a reminder, Serbia’s 2023 representative was the ‘pop alchemist’ Luke Black with his post-apocalyptic vibe of “Samo mi se spava”.

The 68th Eurovision Song Contest will be held on May 7, 9 and 11, 2024 in the Swedish city of Malmö, in Malmö Arena, with the capacity of a little over 15,000 spectators and it is the second largest arena in Sweden. It was open in 2008 and has already hosted the 2013 contest.
