During the 2000s he ruled the stages all around former Yugoslavia. He was the runner up at the Bosnian national selection in 2002 and he also participated in Beovizija in 2004. Now he is coming back to the Serbian national final with the song Vila. Let’s see what he had to say!
Could you describe yourself in just few words?
Musician, father, husband, friend.
What were your first thoughts when you found out that you will be participating at Beovizija?
It is a huge honour for every musician to have a song in big competition like this. I am looking forward to performing at Beovizija again, as I am preparing something completely new.
What do expect out of your participation?
I expect to be satisfied and that we will give our best on the stage. It is our duty to do so, we owe it to the public.
How does your typical day look like?
Family and music are my life and an essential part of my every day. When I’m not with them, I like to be in the circle of friends or some of my favorite colleagues musicians.
Would you be so kind to tell us something interesting about yourself? Something that isn’t commonly known?
I like to dance, though I’m not a very good dancer! I like to swim, though I do not know all the styles. I love to cook. That I know how to do very well.
How would you describe your song?
It’s melodic and imaginative, quite different from my previous work. I like to play it, it makes me happy.
Your first Eurovision memory?
Some beautiful friendly gatherings that I will never forget.
Your favorite Eurovision song?
ABBA’s “Waterloo” and Daniel’s “Džuli”.
Do you have a message for the Eurovision fans from all around the world?
I would like to thank them for being back here with us and that they will follow us on this bittersweet journey. I would send warm welcomes to all of them and I wish that we all will have load of fun!
