San Marino have today announced their representative for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. They have opted for a Turkish born singer, Serhat, who is a singer and TV personality in Turkey has been selected to represent the small nation in Stockholm.
San Marino have once again opted for an international act to represent them, they did so in Junior Eurovision in November, when Kamilla (Russian born singer) represented them in Sofia.
Serhat has had some success in the music industry which began in 1997, his latest single “Je M’adore” has large success in a number of countries in their dance charts. The song Serhat will perform in Stockholm is unknown at this point but will be revealed in the coming weeks
