Ruth Lorenzo has been diagnosed with fatigue after weeks of hard work and stress. She has also cancelled all events scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday this week. Doctors have advised her complete rest for the next 48 hours.

A couple of days ago the Spanish entrant told the press that she is going for gold in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.  That has kept her busy for the past weeks with promotional events in London, Birmingham, Amsterdam and all across Spain. She has worked extensively on her entry with a new revamped version and an impressive choreography that sees her dance under the rain in the official videoclip. She has also recorded English, Spanish, bilingual and dance versions of the song, – which she recently uploaded into her facebook fanpage. Lorenzo has also given countless interviews on radio, press and TV. The Eurovision entreprise is sometimes too demanding for the artists, who spend 3 months coping with tight and stressful schedules.

On an interview to Spanish broadcaster RTVE, the singer has announced that she will be ready to rock the Eurovision stage next week for rehearsals. She will arrive in Copenhagen on May 3rd.
