RTVE introduced “Loviu,” the song selected to represent Spain in the 21st Junior Eurovision Song Contest held on November 26 in Nice. The unveiling took place at a press conference on October 3, attended by key figures including Ana María Bordas, Head of the Spanish Delegation at Eurovision, and María Eizaguirre, Director of Communication and Participation. You can listen to the song here.

Described as a catchy and enjoyable track, “Loviu” embodies the core values of Junior Eurovision, promoting unity, joy, and togetherness between European children through music. The song conveys the message of “I love you” in five languages (Spanish, French, Italian, English and Portuguese) and champions themes of friendship and cultural unity.

The song’s composers, including David Parejo, and Funambulista, emphasized the collaborative and vibrant nature of “Loviu,” highlighting its potential for success in the competition. Sandra Valero expressed her excitement for this project.

Although the complete music video is yet to be released, a teaser allows us to see the creative process. The video features Sandra as a globe-trotting explorer, accompanied by friends.

RTVE’s commitment to promoting Junior Eurovision extends to a Spanish-produced stage production and the broadcast plans to heavily promote Junior Eurovision, especially on the children’s channel CLAN.
