We asked #YOU, our wonderful readers and viewers, to vote on which songs #YOU thought would reach this year’s top five to give us a ranking of the songs. We can now reveal how this makes the state of play going into the Eurovision 2022 final this evening!
With a number of votes cast, we took an average of the votes cast to make a percentage likelihood of a song reaching the top five this year, which allowed us to make an overall ranking more easily.
Following this method, three countries stood out ahead of the rest as likely to make the top five; Ukraine (74.86%), Sweden (70.00%) and United Kingdom (65.52%). Following this trio, Spain was the only other country to have over half of the respondents select them as a top five nation (56.93%).
Next up, Italy was fifth in our ranking with 42.60%, with Poland (39.86%), Greece (29.40%), Serbia (26.15%), Netherlands (16.57%) and Norway (15.07%) rounding out the top ten.
