TVP has officially published their broadcasting plan for the year 2015 and it’s good news for Eurovision fans on a bittersweet day. While Ukraine announce their withdrawal, it seems that their Euro-hosting companions over in Poland will indeed be taking part in the contest next May!
The schedule released by TVP shows a listing for “Konkurs Piosenki Eurowizji” which is the Polish name of Eurovision and therefore it seems to be an indirect confirmation of Poland’s intent to take part next year.
This of course now means that only two more countries remain to declare intention in 2015, as San Marino are expected to decide in October and Croatia remain quiet about any possible return to the contest.
Poland finished 14th in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest held in Copenhagen. Donatan & Cleo’s huge domestic hit “My Słowianie” represented the central European nation on its return to the contest in 2014.

No giving up. I haven’t liked a whole lot of Polish songs in Eurovision but your time will come.

Pity. We should stop participating like the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it’s not like we send good songs, anyway.
