After a successful 2022 run which saw Ochman finish in 12th place in Turin, Italy with the song “River”, Poland is once again using its national selection “Tu bije serce Europy – Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję” where ten entries are vying to represent Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. Once again, here are the acts who perfomed in this national selection.

Stefania (Greece 2021) performed her song “Last Dance” for the opening number. Kalush Orchestra (Ukraine 2022) performed “Stefania” right after the opening spiel of the hosts. There were several interval acts all throughout the show: Sara James (Poland JESC 2021) performed “Somebody” after Kuba’s performance. Efendi (Azerbaijan 2021) performed “Mata Hari” after Alicja’s performance. Roxie Węgiel (Poland JESC 2018) performed “Anyone I Want To Be” after Jann’s performance. After all the performances, Ochman performed his Eurovision 2022 entry “River” which featured his Eurovision staging. After the jury votes were revealed and a commercial break, Edyta Gorniak performed “Andromeda.”
The voting for this national final consists of a professional jury (50%) and public vote (50%). In the end, Blanka emerged as the winner.
This year, Poland will be performing in the 2nd half of the 2nd semi-final on May 11, 2023.
