The Polish broadcaster, TVP, has released the ten entries vying to raise the Polish flag in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
After qualifying to the final for the first time since 2017 and achieving an impressive result, Poland is once again using its national final “Tu bije serce Europy – Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję.” Here are the ten entries:

Alicja Szemplińska – New Home
Blanka – Solo
Dominik Dudek – Be Good
Felivers – Never Back Down
Kuba Szmajkowski – You Do Me
Maya Hyży – Never Hide
Jann – Gladiator
Yan Majewski – Champion
Natasza – Lift U Up
Notable artists from this line-up are Dominik Dudek who won The Voice of Poland 2022; Kuba Szmajkowski who also entered the Polish national selection last year, finishing in 4th place; and Alicja Szemplińska, the Polish representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song “Empires.” However, as we all know, the contest got cancelled due to the pandemic.
The final will commence on the 26th of February 2023. There will be two rounds of voting in this national final. In the first round, three songs will advance to the second round after being selected by a professional jury (50%) and public vote (50%). The votes will be reset to zero in the second round and the jury and public will vote once again to choose the winner. In the event of a tie, the professional jury will select the Polish entry and representative.
Ochman represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 held in Turin with the song “River”. Qualified to the final from the 2nd semi-final, which marks Poland’s first qualification since 2017. He finished 12th with 151 points in the grand final which is Poland’s best result since Michael Szpak in 2016. This year, Poland will be performing in the 2nd half of the 2nd semi-final on May 11, 2023.
