TVP, the Polish National Broadcaster announced today that Donatan & Cleo are going to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen in May with “My Słowianie”
“My Słowanie” (Us Slavs) is a big hit in Poland and the Video has about 38 Million Views on Youtube. TVP announced that there is a bilingual version in Work. You can listen to the song below.

The Duo’s name has been floating around in the Social Media world for weeks and the fact they released an English version only added more fuel to it. This is what some of the fans had to say about the choice on our Forum:

Losing Poland would hardly be a big deal (at least for me) …don’t think I’ve ever liked a song they’ve sent. This song actually takes them to new depths. It’s just random noises. No structure and just sounds awful. The juries will
obliterate this in May. And I think the Western televote won’t be very good either. This song is just way too local to work at ESC in my view.

I am happy for Poland to be back for sure, but I somewhat dont like the song at all. I dont hate it, but its not my cup of tea and I wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt make it to the finale. It is not really what older people can relate to, maybe young ones 😛 I dont like it, and I am young

Congratulations to the Polish Eurovision fans who I’m sure are very happy this year Good song, still need to see what the languages will be though.
So a wide range of opinions however this song has had a huge reaction. Within a short period time people voted in our poll where members can vote in a poll using the Eurovision point system. An overhelming majority came out in favor of the entry as you can see in the screenshot below.

The video is very vulgar, soft core farm porn…..
I appreciate the effort of CEE countries in general this year. But Hungary and FyRoM did a much better and classier job!
