As time get’s closer to the contest in Malmö, we’re slowly getting the results from the various OGAE clubs across the world. France were the first to give out their scores a few days ago, and now we’ve received the votes from the 2nd and 3rd fan club, which are from Turkey and Israel.
Results from Turkey
After a total of 122 registered votes, the following results from Turkey ended as follow:
- Italy 🇮🇹 – 12 points
- Croatia 🇭🇷 – 10 points
- Switzerland 🇨🇭 – 8 points
- Greece 🇬🇷 – 7 points
- Belgium 🇧🇪 – 6 points
- Spain 🇪🇸 – 5 points
- Austria 🇦🇹 – 4 points
- Sweden 🇸🇪 – 3 points
- France 🇫🇷 – 2 points
- Azerbaijan 🇦🇿 – 1 point
This set of points mark the first points for countries such as Greece, Sweden, France & Azerbaijan, who now all are officially on the scoreboard.
Results from Israel
After a total of 202 registered votes, the following results from Israel ended as follow:
- Italy 🇮🇹 – 12 points
- Belgium 🇧🇪 – 10 points
- Croatia 🇭🇷 – 8 points
- Ukraine 🇺🇦 – 7 points
- Switzerland 🇨🇭 – 6 points
- Luxembourg 🇱🇺 – 5 points
- Lithuania 🇱🇹 – 4 points
- Greece 🇬🇷 – 3 points
- Austria 🇦🇹 – 2 points
- The Netherlands 🇳🇱 – 1 point
Luxembourg has now also entered the scoreboard with their 5 points.
With all that said, a total of 518 members from the first 3 countries have had their say on this year’s competition. The top 3 so far remains very tight and close, with only 2 points separating them all. The top 3 currently stand as follows:
- Italy 🇮🇹 – 30 points
- Belgium 🇧🇪 – 28 points
- Croatia 🇭🇷 – 28 points
Italy can thank both Turkey and Israel for sitting in front at the moment, with the two 12 points, while slightly lower on the scoreboard at the moment, who also have entered the 20’s mark at the moment is Switzerland, who sits with 22 points, and rounding the top 5 is Austria with 13 points.
Greece has entered the top 10 and currently sits at 6th place with 10 points, thanks the results from the two recent club results, while all the remaining countries who earned their first set of points, are all just hanging outside the top 10.
22 countries are yet to still receive their first points.
