We have officially crossed into the month of November, which means it’s time to recap all 112 of the new singles and albums that have been released in the last 31 days.

The month has featured releases from all across the globe, with a number of artists releasing new music for the first time in months like Enzo (France JESC 2021), Johnny Manuel (Bulgaria 2018), Sunstroke Project (Moldova 2010 and 2017), and  Laura Tesoro (Belgium 2016). There are also releases from 9 Eurovision winners: Nicole (1982), Maneskin (2021), Sandra Kim (1986), Conchita Wurst (2014), Helena Paparizou (2005), Duncan Laurence (2019), Kalush Orchestra (2022), Jamala (2016), and Mans Zelmerlow (2015).

Maléna – Cheri Cheri Lady (Armenia JESC, 2021)

The winner of Junior Eurovision has released her first single post-contest, and we can confirm that it’s an ear worm! The music video showcases a club atmosphere that matches the Europop beats present throughout the chorus lines. It’s important to note that the music video was directed by Maléna herself, with tokionine serving as co-director and producer for the track. Tokionine also wrote Maléna’s proposed 2020 JESC entry, and her winning 2021 song “Qami Qami”, alongside working with Srbuk in Eurovision 2019.

Tokio Hotel ft. Dadi Freyr – Happy People (Iceland 2020/2021)

Sandra Kim – Take me as I am (Belgium, 1986)

The youngest winner in Eurovision history (a record that can never be beaten) and winner of the Masked Singer Vlaanderen has had a transformative year, releasing 4 new songs in the last 12 months. Her new song “Take me as I am” was released just before her 50th birthday on October 16th, which she celebrated by throwing a concert at the Kursaal Casino in Ostend. The song is a pop tune with empowering and uplifting lyrics, with the chorus saying “Take me as I am / I’m just doing me / What you get it what you see”. Aspiring words to live by!

Eneda Tarifa – Kërkoj (Albania 2016)

If you have not been following Eneda’s career post-Eurovision, allow us to show you what you’ve been missing out on. Since winning the 2019 edition of Kënga Magjike (the second longest music competition in Albania next to Festivali i Këngës) Eneda has released 13 songs including a remastered album version of previous releases. The song’s Albanian lyrics tell the story of love and comfort in the company of another through a driving track and beautiful melody.

We Are Domi – Alive (Czech Republic 2022)

Speaking of Kënga Magjike, Czech Republic’s 2022 representative We Are Domi recently appeared in the 2022 edition with their new song “Alive” under the Big International Artist category. The band competed in the category alongside fellow Eurovision 2022 artists Alvan (France) and Andrea (North Macedonia), as well as former Eurovision participant Omar Naber (Slovenia 2005 and 2017). The winner of the B.I.A. category for 2022 has not yet been decided.

Marco Mengoni – Migliore Di Me (Italy 2013)

This month Eurovision 2013 participant Marco Mengoni has released his new album MATERIA, the second of three albums that describe the path he has taken in the last two years. The 25 track album has a bit of everything for listeners, featuring pop ballads, electronic pop, and a number of collaborations with artists like La rappresentante di lista (Sanremo 2022), Bresh, Gazzelle, and more. To date the album has been a massive success on Spotify, earning over 115 million cumulative streams across all tracks.
