Freddy Kalas

Snippets of the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix were released this week, and some fans noticed one of the songs was rather similar to another song.

The song “Happy Rush” by Freddie Kalas came into question due to the fact it was very similar to one of his previous songs “Cannabus”. NRK, the Norwegian broadcaster held an emergancy meeting to discuss what could be done about this. The TV company decided that the only thing they could do would be to disqualify “Happy Rush”.

The song may be out of the running to represent Norway, but, Freddy Kalas is still in it. He is able to perform another song for MGP, this new song will be announced today
