Douwe Bob will represent the Netherlands in Stockholm with “Slow Down”

It was late 2015 when the Dutch TV channel announced that Douwe Bob would represent the Netherlands in Stockholm. Today the song has finally been revealed. Douwe will perform the song “Slow Down” in Sweden for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

At a press conference in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, AVROTROS revealed that the Dutch people will be represented by Douwe Bob’s song “Slow Down” in the Globe Arena in Stockholm in May. Douwe stated that “I write songs and now I am getting the chance to showcase my music on the largest stage in Europe, at the European Song Contest. I am going to Stockholm to win and I’m extremely happy that I can do so in my own unique way”.

The Netherlands will take part in the first half of the first semi-final on the 10th of May, hoping to reach the final which will be held 4 days later, on the 14th of May.
