A decision on who will represent Montenegro in next year’s contest is expected to be made next week following the conclusion of broadcaster RTCG’S submission period.
A five-person expert panel of RTCG and music executives will deliberate on the submitted entries next week, with Sabrija Vulić (head of promotion) suggesting the committee will come to a conclusion by the “end of next week”.
The panel also consists of Radio Montenegro music editors Nada Vučinić and Vladimir Maraš, TV music editor Slaven Knezović and RTCG entertainment editor Ivan Maksimović.
Montenegro were represented by Highway in 2016, but “The Real Thing”failed to qualify the country for the final for the first time since 2013.
