Moldovan national broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova has announced the dates and details for their national selection.
Semifinals will be held on 11 and 13 March, each with 12 participants. Seven finalists from each will be chosen with a combination of jury and televote, in addition to one finalist each who will be saved by the public vote. The 16 finalists will then perform in the Final on 15 March, with the winner representing Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen. All these events will be broadcast live on Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova.
Only Moldovan citizens interested in joining can apply, but composers and lyricists do not have to be from Moldova.
