After a long livestream from the Moscow’s Crave Theater yesterday night, Moldovan representative Natalia Gordienko finally released her 2021 Eurovision entry “Sugar.” You can watch and listen to the sweet music video here below:

Sugar was produced and written by a familiar team, better known as the “Dream Team.” The song was Dimitris Kontopoulos and Philipp Kirkorov, with lyrics by Mikhail Gutseriyev and Sharon Vaughn. The sugary music video was shot in Kyiv, Ukraine by Katya Tsarik and wrapped up after 22 hours of filming with a 50 person crew and 8 dancers, using the latest filmotecnic remote systems.

This isn’t the first time Natalia represented Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2006, she represented Moldova alongside Arsenium and Connect-R at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song “Loca”. They placed 20th in the final.

Natalia was supposed to fly the Moldovan flag at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020 with his song “Prison.” On 26 January 2021, TRM announced that Natalia would get another chance to represent Moldova in 2021. She will be performing on 20th of may 2021 in the first half of the second semi-final.
