The Evening
For full understanding of how it all worked tonight here is our rundown of the changes to this years semi-final.
Pernille Wahlgren was entered into the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame. After this, and before we got our first results, we were treated to a breakdown in votes from each heat. They broke down the difference in votes by gender and area. For example in Heat 1, Victor Crone won 57% of the female vote.
This then led us to a slight change from normal. With voting lines shut, we were shown who is ahead and who would make it to the final. These were Nordman, Theoz, Kiana and Mariette. But everything could change as voting reopened.
The Finalists
Our finalists are, in order of announcement, Nordman, Theoz, Kiana and Mariette!
The final running order for next weeks final will be released soon and we will bring that to you when we know it!
The final next week comes live from Stockholm’s Friends Arena where 12 artists will compete for the Songbird trophy. And from there we will find out who will represent Sweden at Eurovision.
