During the Sanremo Final show it was announced that Marco Mengoni is going to represent Italy in Malmo. The 24 year old singer rose to fame in 2009 when the Italian X-Factor. But that was only the beginning of his quite impressive career. In 2010 Marco placed third in the Sanremo Festival and also won an MTV Europe award.

    Rajo, you are right, he could be the HUNK of Malmo seeing that Kevin Borg did not make it for Malta. This kind of Italian look is very popular and I think he could be the dark horse for the contest.

    Italian schlager is so not my cup of tea, Nina Zilli being the exception to that rule, but I am afraid this guy will score big time anyway. All the eurogays will fall for him at first sight and give him their personal dodici punti *lol*
