With each and every day passing by, we are slowly approaching the time for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which also has been highly noticeable in the past few days. Multiple countries has officially released their song for the children’s competition and next in line is Malta.

Malta in JESC 2023

Malta were among the very first countries to announce their representative, and furthermore, were one of the very few to have an open national selection dedicated to the show. Despite this, Malta did become one of the last to reveal their song. Back in the summer, it was announced that Malta would hold a national final, in order to select their representative.

Two semi-finals were held in July, while the final was held in mid-August, here a jury and the public vote would decide who would get the honor of representing the tiny islands of Malta in Nice, France. The competing children would perform covers of various songs, and here it was decided that Yulan Law, would be the one to fly the flag to the competition.

Now, 2 months later, we finally get to hear the Maltese bid, for a possible 3rd victory for the small islands. The song is titled “Stronger” and is written and composed by, John-Emil Johansson, Sandra Wikström, Isak Alvedahl, Elise Hedengren and of course, Yulan Law herself.

A music video has been accompanied with the release of the song as well, which can be seen below:
