Eurovision’s executive supervisor Jon Ola Sand has fuelled speculation of important news at the weekend with his latest tweet.
The Norwegian suggests that there will be important details regarding the upcoming contest in Vienna to be released before and after the weekend. However, he has not revealed the nature of the news, whether it’ll be the announcement of the hosts, the final participant lists or any surprising participation news (are we about to see a big comeback or debut?)
Exciting #Eurovision news coming before ánd after the weekend. Are you keeping an eye on http://t.co/i7ZxHQJjKh?

Eurovision 2015 currently has 39 countries confirmed to take part, including the recent approval of Greece’s new broadcaster NERIT. Bulgaria remain a big question mark for participation but seems unlikely, whereas Ukraine have withdrawn and various others remain out of the competition. It is unknown whether any of these countries will make a surprise last-minute return in 2015 but we should find out within the next few days!

It’ll either be either about the number of participants or some major change to the rules. I hope it’s the former.

Let’s just hope it’s not a wildcard entry from another part of the world.. Eurovision needs to stay European
