The Lithuanian broadcaster LRT announced the 2015 selection process to find a representative for the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria.
Ultimately they decided to stick with the same system used in 2014 which was considered long and rather complicated. However, the shows enjoyed high viewing figures so from a financial point of view it made sense to the broadcaster to continue with it despite the lack of success at this year’s contest when Lithuania failed to qualify from the Semi Final with ‘Attention’ by Vilija.
With a total of Eight shows and two Finals, the Lithuanian Eurovision season the fans are in for a long Eurovision season . There are separate shows for the Song and artist selection with the Finalists all performing the winning song.
LRT is accepting applications and you can check their website for additional information. Stay tuned for updates as the broadcaster has yet to make an announcement on a call for songs.
