Festival da Canção, The Portuguese selection for the Eurovision Song Contest is over and we have a winner. Leonor Andrade s going to represent Portugal at the upcoming Eurovision in Vienne with the song Há um Mar que nos Separa.
Six acts were competing today for the Golden ticket and initially three songs moved on to the second Round aka Super Final. Here are the participants, the Super Finalists are in bold:
- José Freitas – Mal Menor
- Yola Dinis – Outra Vez Primavera
- Leonor Andrade – Há um Mar que nos Separa
- Simone de Oliveira – À Espera das Canções
- Teresa Radamanto – Um Fado em Viena
- Gonçalo Tavares – Tu Tens uma Mágica
Who is Leonor Andrade?
Miguel Gameiro is a famous singer and leader of a pop group “Pólo Norte”. His first participation as a composer was in 2010, but this time he chose as a singer the beautiful Leonor Andrade, from The Voice of Portugal. (eurovision.tv)
