PER and “Here We Go” won Dziesma 2013 tonight.  With two songs in the finals, both of which were fan favorites, it seemed almost a sure shot that PER had the best chance of representing Latvia at Malmo.  Still, many are shocked that early favorite Samanta Tina and “I Need A Hero” will not be representing Latvia.

PER was one of the three superfinalists alongside Samanta Tina and Marta Ritova “I Am Who I Am.”

Congrats to Latvia!

The 3 Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have some tendencies to pick songs their public like and not look at what other countryies may like and vote for.
