We have our very first act for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest! Tamara Grujevska will represent North Macedonia in Nice on November 26.
The 12-year old singer has been selected after auditions were held to choose the Macedonian representative for next JESC, as MRT announced earlier today in a blog post.
Tamara was born on December 2nd 2010 in Gostivar. She made her first beginnings in the world of music when she was only five years old, and has constantly been active at children’s festivals in the country and abroad since then.
A “unique and fearless” performer
MRT says Tamara Grujevska is “unique and fearless” and known for her powerful performances and amazing vocals. Moreover, the 12-year old singer has already won several music awards in her short but impressive career, and not just in North Macedonia. The broadcaster finally adds that Tamara will be surrounded by a team of renowned artists for JESC 2023.
This all sounds very promising for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 that will be held in Nice on November 26. By the way, this year’s JESC slogan is Heroes, to celebrate all of the young heroes all around the world.
