The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will see the Polish hosting #MoveTheWorld, as Warsaw continues preparations to host the contest in November.

The slogan and logo were unveiled during JESC 2019 winner Viki Gabor’s interview with Jan Smit in tonight’s Europe Shine a Light broadcast where it was also confirmed that Warsaw would be the host city for this year’s contest.

#YOU can see the logo above and also the reasoning behind the slogan below;

“The creative concept behind the slogan is that, as children, we mistakenly believe all important things are done by renowned people: scientists, astronauts, athletes and actors. We want to become them because, in our eyes, they are the ones moving the world. But this is not the case: every day, millions of people around the world perform their day-to-day duties with capability and care. Together, they are the ones really moving the world. This year’s slogan honours the collective power we hold together.”

Developments surrounding Junior Eurovision 2020 and the ongoing COVID-19 crisis will continue to be communicated by the EBU in the lead up to November’s contest.
