Joost Klein has announced four concerts in the United States next year.

The Dutch contestant from the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest will perform at Irving Plaza in New York City on March 31 and April 1. The April 1 show was originally scheduled for the Gramercy Theatre, which has a capacity of 650. However, due to popular demand, the venue has been upgraded to Irving Plaza, which can host up to 1,200 attendees – nearly twice the Gramercy’s capacity – and a second show on March 31 has been added.

Klein will also perform at the Belasco in Los Angeles (capacity 1,500) on April 3 and April 5 – originally scheduled for Echoplex.

While the New York shows are sold out, tickets for Los Angeles can be purchased through Live Nation.

Klein was disqualified from the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest following a backstage altercation with a member of the production crew, which launched a police investigation in Sweden. On August 12, the Swedish prosecutor announced that the legal case related to the incident has been dropped for lack of evidence.

Since the 2024 contest, Klein’s popularity has exploded both in and outside of Europe. To date, he is one of the most streamed artists from the 2024 lineup. In May, Klein performed for the first time since Eurovision at Freshtival Weekend in the Netherlands, where he declared onstage: “I am international artist now.”

Klein is the latest 2024 contestant to announce US concert dates. Marina Satti (Greece) will perform at CODE Astoria in Queens, New York on November 27. Finland’s Windows95man will also perform at Irving Plaza in January 2025.
