Reports have been circulating all of today regarding Bulgaria returning to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

A number of sources within the Bulgarian media have announced that Bulgaria will return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year. There is no official confirmation from the national broadcaster BNT, although should these reports turn out to be correct, then the number of countries confirmed for Marsa will have risen to 13, with a number of other countries still unconfirmed.

Bulgaria first participated in JESC back in 2007 as one of 4 debuting countries, when they ended 7th with ‘Bonbolandiya’ performed by Bon-Bon.

The 2014 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Malta Shipbuilding, in Marsa, Malta, on the 15th of November.
