The 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest is set to dazzle in Madrid, Spain, following the country’s impressive second-place finish at the 2023 contest. Scheduled for November 16 at the iconic Caja Mágica, this marks the contest’s return to a Saturday finale for the first time since 2015. Despite their victory, France passed on the hosting duties after organizing the 2023 edition in Nice.

Five artists vied for the chance to represent Germany at Junior Eurovision 2024. Each put forward a one-minute demo of their song. The winner was decided by a combination of an expert jury (50%) and online votes from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (50%). The online voting was open all last week and just wrapped up yesterday.

  • Bjarne claimed the top spot with his song “Save the Best for Us,” ranking 1st with both the jury and online voters.
  • Julius’ “Jupiter” took second place, earning 2nd from the jury and online voters alike.
  • Bellamore’s “Too Cool” finished in third place, scoring 3rd in both the jury and online votes.
  • Greta’s “All of Me” secured fourth place, with the jury and online votes both placing her 4th.
  • Franz’s “Komplett” (Complete) came in fifth, as he received 5th place from both the jury and the online votes.

Bjarne will now record a full studio version of “Save the Best for Us,” which will be released at a later date.
