The fourth night of the Italian Sanremo Festival has just ended. Tonight 16 ‘Campioni’ acts qualified to the grand final. Only 4 artists were eliminated. The winner will have the right to go to Eurovision – in case they decline, an expert jury will pick the ESC participant out of the remaining finalists instead.

These are the 16 finalists:

Annalisa – “Una finestra tra le stelle”
Nesli – “Buona fortuna amore”
Irene Grandi – “Un vento senza nome”
Nek – “Fatti avanti amore”
Bianca Atzei – “Il solo al mondo”
Moreno – “Oggi ti parlo così”
Grazia Di Michele e Mauro Coruzzi – “Io sono una finestra”
Lorenzo Fragola – “Siamo uguali”
Il Volo – “Grande amore”
Gianluca Grignani – “Sogni infranti”
Malika Ayane – “Adesso e qui (nostalgico presente)”
Dear Jack – “Il mondo esplode tranne noi”
Marco Masini – “Che giorno è”
Nina Zilli – “Sola”
Alex Britti – “Un attimo importante”
Chiara – “Straordinario”

That means the following 4 acts were eliminated tonight:

Biggio e Mandelli – “Vita d’inferno”
Lara Fabian – “Voce”
Raf – “Come una favola”
Anna Tatangelo – “Libera”

Tonight Sanremo also featured the final of the Nuove proposte category, the side contest for newcomers. The winner was determined in two rounds of duels.

Duel 1: Amara – “Credo” (42%) vs. KuTso – “Elisa” (58%)
Duel 2: Enrico Nigiotti – “Qualcosa da decidere” (48%) vs. Giovanni Caccamo – “Ritornerò da te” (52%)

Final duel: KuTso – “Elisa” (44%) vs. Giovanni Caccamo – “Ritornerò da te” (56%)
