The versions of the final three songs in Israel’s HaShir HaBa L’Eurovizion, as recorded by Eden Alene, have now been released via Israel Hayom, one of Israel’s leading news outlets.

The details of each song’s amendments are also clear, in particular with “Ue La La” which has been extended to the full three minute allocation in the latest version, with “modulation” added and the song turned from a “dark and mysterious” song to one with “childlike character”. A lyrical reference has also been removed due to the fact the reference of “mon chéri” likely refers to a make-up brand of songwriter Aline Cohen.

“La La Love” is described as being “enriched with oriental elements”, whereas little seems to have been amended in Eden Alene’s version of “Set Me Free”

The three songs can be heard in full HERE.

Israel’s national selection will culminate on January 25th, with an online vote launching on the 19th deciding which of the final three tracks will represent the nation in Rotterdam.
