The Hungarian NF has come to a close and we have a winner. After Three Heats and Two Semi-Finals as well as a Super Final, Freddie won over the hearts in Hungary and will go to Stockholm with the song Pioneer.
Each juror announced their scores after all songs were performed and assign points in the following manner: 4 (lowest), 6, 8 and 10 (highest). The four entries with the highest total scores proceeded to the second round where the winner was determined by a public vote based on votes submitted through SMS, mobile app and online voting.
The following four entries qualified to the Super Final:
Petruska “Trouble in My Mind”
Gergő Oláh “Győz a jó”
Freddie “Pioneer”
Kállay Saunders Band “Who We Are”
Freddie was a favorite to win the contest and managed deliver. His powerful song finished first with the juries and televotes and can go to Stockholm with full support of his country.
