France has selected! Zoé Clauzure will represent France at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Nice, France. The announcement was made during a press conference today. She will be performing her Junior Eurovision Song “Cœur” on the Eurovision Stage. You can listen to the song in the video below:
Her JESC2023 entry was written by Noée Francheteau, Julien Comblat and Jérémy Chapron. The track is a fun pop song full of pep, which displays the full range of Zoe’s vocals. Cœur is about bullying, and acts as the sunny side of Ma Place, a song on the same subject Zoé released in 2020.:
‘Ma Place was a dark ballad full of restrained emotion. Cœur is its opposite: a positive track, full of hope and light. Music is a way of expressing myself outside language, and I’m quite talkative, but that’s not enough for me.’
