As previously announced, France is hosting its first national final in six years to allow for the public selection of the 2014 representative. The three candidates, who were approved after two rounds of the special “listening committee,” have been announced as Destan, Joanna Lagrave or Twin Twin.

Destan is a relatively new pop group consisting of members Kilian, Quentin and Dean. Below is their debut single, Vole (“Rush”).

Joanna Lagrave is a former contestant of talent show Star Academy 8, where she came fourth in 2009. Her debut was L’école des duplicatas (“The School of Duplicates”).

Twin Twin are a trio formed by member Patrick, and twins Lorent and François. They have an active YouTube channel, with nearly 1000 subscribers. A music video for their latest song, Je Vais Très Bien (“I Am Very Good”), was released a few days ago.
