Share your movie collection with the forum! I'm curious to see what's in yours! I only count what I own in physical copies, not what I've downloaded. But that's up to you.

I've been buying DVD for ten years (they're my favorite things to spend money on, next to CDs and books) so I've built up a wee collection over the years.

I've got my DVD/bluray collection in a program called moviecollectorz or something, I'll have to dig out the online link somewhere, but my collection is quite big, and totally different from yours 800 titles ++

All originals We still have a huge stack that we haven't registered yet since we haven't seen them, so the real number is over 800. Have been collecting for over 10 years now, and this summer we got rid of a lot of VHS that we gave away. leaving some holes in the collection that haven't yet been filled up with the dvd/bluray replacement.

I don't have a lot of movies, but I have quite a lot of music.
I have a profile at Discogs with most of my collection, but there's about 100 releases that aren't there yet, and I haven't had the time to get that done yet. Still, it's a nice collection, altho the music in it might not be typical for this forum...

Very nice! You've got some great titles in there.

There have mainly been two factors that have prevented me from increasing my collection to your level. The main one is money as I've had next to no income the past ten years. The second one is that I'm very picky when I do have the money to buy DVDs. Not only about which movies to buy, but about which editions to buy. For me the cover artwork and the special features are just as important as the film itself (otherwise I might as well just download the film). I'll compare the different editions released in different countries to see which one has the best artwork along with the most special features. If the artwork is really ugly across the board I often don't buy the film at all (I wait and hope for a better looking edition further down the road).

I am also very picky about when I buy a movie. There are very few I get when they are brand new, most movies are bought when they cost around 50 kr. Second hand is just fine as well, and we get a lot of movies for birthdays and christmas. And I've old enough to pay, as they say, I have a great job and can afford collecting movies as a hobby. It's been a while since I was a broke student
I don't care about extra materials, artwork and such, I am just into the movies, simple as that But I have to say, the music video from Die Hard 4 is awsome
