By the way if you would like to download your mash-up you should be able to do it by just clicking on the video while playing with the right button on your mouse.

There used to be a download button but they got rid of it.

So are we supposed to add songs together and hope for the best or is there an option on the website to edit/mix parts as we wish? Because I created some things but choruses overlapped each other xLO I'd prefer to be in control of creating the mash up.

And can we add more than 2 songs?

You have no control. I have done like 10 mashes, one was borderline viable, one was pretty good. Settled for the pretty good one as a 10% success rate is splendid.

You can add more songs if you want to, I am not going to enforce rules on that, it's just that it tends to become a mess unless you have a genre that basically doesn't move a whole lot. Lots of techno tends to just sit on this 4/4 beat with structures that are fairly repetitive, you might find some wins there using more songs than two.

Before creating my entry for this spinoff, I created two other mashups, each with a song from this decade and a song from the 1980s. In each mashup, I could barely hear elements of the earlier song. Therefore, it is best to work with songs from the same era if possible.

Mine came out as a total hot potato mess, but out of 10 attempts this smashing billboard’s hot 100 #1 hit turned out to be the best version possible jajajj

We have 11 entries, so that saves me the trouble of begging for entries like some WVSO editions lately. Still though, mash two songs together and enter alright.

Just sent my entry, cos I weirdly stumbled upon a result this morning that:
a) didn't make me dizzy,
b) sounded vaguely in tune,
c) contains two of my fave tunes from my teen years

So yeah, DJ Ditz is in xheya
