Tokyo e youkoso! / Welcome to Tokyo!

Our WorldVision spin-off travels take us to the Far East and one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world: Tokyo. For our 31st spin-off, we will celebrate the songs that competed in the national finals at the Eurovision Song Contest, but never reached the goal of representing their nation

All the songs I was considering for Serbia are in this spinoff so... well done guys ^^

Yaaay, such a good show! xcheer And so many great songs here, especially I'm happy to see one amazing song, with which I won a contest on another forum about a year ago, it was my first long-awaited victory there, so that song is very special for me:D Probably I'll tell you after the Result Show, which one that is:lol:

in 2011. hrt tried a "different" concept of dora.
to make a long story short, jacques and daria kinzer were in final. and as we all know, daria won.

so, we had a possibilty of sending jacques with this song but instead we sent daria kinzer with one of the worst songs and live performances in esc history xbow

sending daria and celebrate was a disaster for itself but sending her over a good song and a fantastic live performer...

And you forget to mention that Stotinama godina with HUGEEEEE advantage won televoting (later it became one of biggest hits in country, even nominated of our discography award Porin in category: Hit of the year) and had same number of points as Lahor (who in original version was at least not disastor, at least Lahoreee sounded good at Croatian) when points of televoting and jury were transformed and counted but "expert" jury votes had more impact and Lahor won. Honestly, at first listening, Lahor wasn't THAT bad song at all but later they managed to "destroy" song with completely cliched no sense English lyrics + Daria's voice completely doesn't suit this type of songs! To not mention that disastrous at eurovision stage...I mean, peak of her performance is when she is waving...to me that's one of epic esc moments! xrofl xrofl xrofl
Also, Franka Batelić sang demo of the version that is called I believe and believe me, song sounded completely different with her voice! It was available here but unfortunately is not any more it seems! ;) EKSKLUZIVNO: Poslu
Anyway, if for example Franka was singing this song in its first version (I believe) and with decent performance, she would be in final (as if Daria managed to win somehow 41 points, I'm sure Franka could get at least double of it xshrug)

My entry for Ireland was Swedish in all but the vocals - Swedish writers, composers and producers - that's probably why I went crazy for it during the 2012 NF season, although the live performance was really atrocious! :lol:
