So here's how this spin-off went for me...
My
went to a song that I sung endlessly on a summer holiday to Spain with my parents with I was 6 years-old; even earned a 500 peseta tip for serenading a nearby lady whilst I slept on the beach - sing-sleeping, cos that's how I rolled!
My
is one of my favourite melodies of the 80s - utterly timeless, and dramatic, and definitely a formative song in my teen years as I realised I wanted to have that very same feeling as the lyrics in the song described...
My
was always an anthem - one of my mum's faves, and would always get her right up on the dancefloor at any parties!
My
has such vivid memories of all those summer holidays with my family again, since it would always be the first song you'd hear playing on the airplane tannoy before take-off as you boarded. Super-random, but such a strong childhood memory.
And my
- that was one of my Uncle Jim's favourite songs. He'd play it in his car stereo while on our Sunday drives to Largs to watch the sail boats and enjoy a yummy ice-cream overlooking the sea.
God the memories - the first 7 years of my life, and they were a gooooood 7 years
Thanks everyone for bringing them back to me
