WLSC Congratulations 2 - Hosting, plans, ideas

Well, since WLSC 40 is getting closer I think this is a good time to post this.
As older members know, after WLSC 20 we organised WLSC Congratulations which had many participants and great succes. I think we should do that again.
The rules are:

1. Only countries which took part in WLSC 21 - 40 can participate (full NSC members too).
2. Songs from NSC are forbbiden. (I'm wondering should we keep that rule so please tell me your option)


Now I'm looking for a person witch would like to host it OR we should ask winner (and so on) of first edition to host it.

Awww, my first experience of hosting a contest - that was sooooo much fun, and I would recommend it to anyone!

I'll definitely be in for this contest. My personal opinion is that we should keep it to WLSC-only songs (no songs that have been featured in NSC also) since this is all about voting on the best of WLSC over the past 20 editions and entries that might have gained more notoriety from NSC would make things less exclusive to this contest.

I have no idea what songs I'll be sending to this - I could easily send my most popular song, but I don't think I'd go for that. I sent "Closer To Perfection" to Congrats 1 after its position in WLSC #18 was lower than I'd hoped, so I reckon I could maybe try for another "less appreciated" song that might gain more support this time around... of course, I might be talking rubbish

Anyway, I'm babbling - can't wait for this and hope someone can host

I obviously don't have as many entries to choose from as some of you, but I think I have an idea.

If lowyby can host, then great, but he doesn't seem super-active on the boards these days. I think a general request to all owners of WL nations who had any participations between WLSC #21 and 40 should be put out and then the person most willing to host can have the gig. That's how I did the first one, since I had spare time to dedicate to graphics and scoreboards etc.

Yes, you send any entry that you sent between WLSC #21 and WLSC #40 - this is a celebration of everyone's favourite entries of theirs from that period

Question: would do you rather have this in celebration of WLSC 40 or 2 years of WLSC? The first congrats edition was coincidentally held on the anniversary of WLSC, so maybe that's something that you could continue?
