So, which teams do you support all the time, no matter if they are participating in international competitions or not (all sports included)

I am of course a huge supporter of Partizan, as you could've seen in my posts here. :D Partizan is a Serbian champion in many sports for years, and in some even DECADES, we have a team in soccer, basketball, water polo, volleyball, handball, and even hokey. Basketball (we won the Euro League in 1992) and water polo (Also european champions) are our main sports, but since we managed to get in this CL season in soccer, I guess we're not "that" bad there  And we played in the final of Cup of European Champions in 1966 against Real Madrid, previously eliminating Manchester United, but didn't manage to win it.

I also support one more team, but this is only regarding basketball, and definetly not in the same manner as Partizan, and that is Hemofarm. Hemofarm are the vice champions of Serbia in basketball, and they are like my local team (Since I am studying in Vrsac, from where this club comes from  ). They have a good tradition of playing in european championships, but they still didn't manage to qualify for the Euro League. Hemofarm is also a very famous factory of medications in Serbia, and is the sponsor of the team.

This is the logo of Hemofarm:

What about you? :D Which teams do you support? You can write a short history about them if you want too :)

Steaua is the most important team in Romania, founded in 1947, with 60 % Romanian fan-base! :D

Titles:

- 1 UEFA Champions League trophy in 1986 after 2 - 0 against FC Barcelona + one UEFA Champions League Final in 1989 (0 - 4 against AC Milan)
- 1 European Super Cup in 1987 after 1 - 0 against Dinam Kiev
- 23 Romanian League titles (the most in Romania, followed by Dinamo Bucharest with 18), last won in 2006
- 20 Romanian Cup titles (the most in Romania, followed by Poli Timisoara with 15), last won in 1999
- 5 Romanian Super Cup titles (the most in Romania, followed by Rapid Bucharest with 3), last won in 2006
- never played in a lower division

Our anthem is Scooter - Maria!

Steaua is also known as Barcelona of the East!

I also suport: :ro: national team, Inter, Chelsea, Deportivo La Coruna, PSV Eindhoven and :nl: national team, but not as much as Steaua! :D

FC København

FC København is the team I have followed through ups and downs the past nine years. I started following them in 2001 when I watched my first game in Parken. Back in those days Brøndby dominated everything in terms of football...

Since then things have turned out fairly well for us. I have so many good memories with this club; from when we entered Champions League for the first time in 2006 (we came 4th though:() and now we're there again being a serious contender for advancement...

...and of course all our trophies the past 5 years in the Danish football-league. So many good matches (sorry for being a little sentimental )

Teams I support outside Denmark (though not as far as much as FC København):

Juventus
Juventus-1.jpg

The most winning Italian club ever. Do I need say more? :p

Obviously the club has seen better days but I love the club and i also supported them during the Calciopoli-scandal. Dunno why I started supporting them and not Milan or Inter for instance..it just came naturally I

Sparta Praha
hok7ki.jpg

The story about this one if quite coincidental; I fell in love with Prague when I went there a couple of years ago with my class. Me and a few others decided to get some tickets for either Sparta Prague or Slavia Prague..Sparta Prague was the only team playing on home ground the week we visited the city. I had never seen a Czech football match before but I was quite entertained.

Also FC København met them in Europe League (a match I saw live) last season and I started liking some of their players. I don't really follow them in the Czech league that close but I always cheer for them in their European matches.

The atmosphere of Partizan's matches from the south court where Partizan's supporters are located mostly:

And the atmosphere in the hall Pionir where the basketball club of Partizan is playing

I think it's a fact that City is considered Manchester's team as I heard 80 % of the people in Manchester suport Manchester City!

I heard that too.

To me, most of Manchester United's fans seem to be mainly from Asia and pretty much from anywhere else than England.

Beautiful. I adore the Basketball fan-culture on the Balcan-area. Panathinaikos have some pretty passionate basketball-fans too. This video completely blew me away; they sing this song (Horto Magiko) at football matches as well:

European Champion in season 1990/91 (3 time semifinalist, and 5 time in last 8)
Uefa Super Cup runner up in 1991
Intercontinental world cup tittle 1991

My second favored domestic club is FK Vojvodina Novi Sad

Actually more Mancunians support United , Id say it's 60% for United with 40% for City :D. My family traditionally support United and I am told that the club actually was considering taking on my granddad many decades ago but sadly he didnt do it (I think it might have been just before he went ill cuz he died when he was in his 30's ). I've broke the family tradition though and Im a City guy ... tbh Im not really into football though except the World Cup so I couldnt tell you anything about the leagues or that  .
But yes I do agree that United is more popular outside Manchester... how come no-one likes City?!!

I don't support any of these 2 big clubs in Serbia (Partizan & Red Star)(football) - They're not important to me at all. Only when happens that Partizan plays in CL (football) or Euroleague (basketball) or Hockey I support Partizan (in international matches). If it's between Red Star and Partizan - I don't care who wins.

My fav sport is tennis. Ofcourse, there r no clubs like in football, so let's say I support most Serbian Davis Cup representation and Serbian Federation Cup representation. They r my favorite teams:D

Could be. I always had an impression that people from Manchester are mainly for United, but obviously I am not right. I mean I knew that there is a huge group of Manchester City supporters, but United is more famous and all, so it carried me away.

@No Name: Wow, that clip just made me chill  I mean, I got used to such moments here, but it's stunning really. It's always stunning when the supporters make a great choreography before the match and sing club's songs to support the team.

Even though I am a Partizan supporter, I have to admit that Zvezda's fans are much better than us in such things. We are good too (but we make better choreographies in basketball), but the fans of Zvezda were always much better at this, when counting football only. And they have a better stadium than us, I have to admit that.

And, of course, I forgot to mention that I always support a Serbian club when it plays international matches (Zvezda as well) in whatever sport, whatever competition, but when it's domestic comptition.....Partizan all the way baby  (or Hemofarm in basketball, but not with the same passion like Partizan)

My favorite team is since many years a little club: SC Freiburg

SC_Freiburg.jpg

At the moment, they are playing well in German Bundesliga - after the first half of the season the are 6th only one point behind Bayern München. This is a big surprise.
