• Medley Spin-off: Send a Medley Performance of two and more Songs
• Building Bridges 2: Collaborations between artists of two or more different countries
• Canada 150: In honor of Canada's 150th birthday, submit a song by a Canadian artist. Any decade, any genre
• Metal songs Let's make this kind of songs a bit more popular in this spinoff.
• "Celebrate diversity!" Send an entry which is being sung in a language, which has never been featured in the ESC so far.
• Electronic Paradise. Music that belongs to electronic genres or has noticable electronic influence (electropop, electro-house, techno etc).
