I don't know exactly what I should explain. We would send a song that was recorded in the year we were born. For example, I was born in 1991, so I would send a song from 1991.
+ Can i send a song that was made & used before the year i was born, if the song was not released or available for purchase before the year i was born? How we would be represented in these spin offs?
Would we compete as the Musical the song is from? The country plus the year we were born? (Example: Sweden 2000 & Sweden 1993 could be competing) or would we be countries/regions as usual?
Might be a stupid question, but i just want to know if i would need to be really early to secure the songs i want to compete with and how the spin-offs would work in general.

But would send a song from, say, UK 1991 (thereby preventing anyone else from taking the UK-or possibly just the UK in 1991) or would it just be "here's Lupus with a hit from 1993" alongside however many other people from 1993?
Also, Ringdalen has a point, what if the song were being used for, say, a film or something and the film was released in the birth year, but the soundtrack the year after? It may not happen, but it's best to clarify rather than people getting DQed!
we can just choose country + year, and it could be like two USA's and two 1991's, but only ony USA 1991. Someone would have to take a different country.
The year of the song, not a movie would count
Thanks for explaining
But if i want to send a song that was released in 1998, but used in 1997 on television. Would that be ok?
